Terms of Service

By accessing or using Straktu (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Straktu is a web-based platform that provides structural engineering calculation tools and permit-ready PDF document generation. The Service is designed as an engineering aid \u2014 it does not replace professional engineering judgment, site-specific analysis, or the duty of care owed by licensed professionals to their clients and the public.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable professional engineering regulations
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as expressly permitted by law
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its outputs as a standalone product
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without prior written permission

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Paddle, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges at the then-current rate until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period \u2014 you retain full access until that date.

Refunds: Payments are non-refundable. No refunds or credits are provided for partial billing periods, unused time, or early cancellation.

Straktu reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply to the current billing period and take effect at the next renewal.

Our IP: The Straktu platform, including its calculation engine, user interface, PDF templates, branding, and documentation, is owned by Straktu and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the platform.

Your Data: You retain ownership of the calculation inputs, outputs, and project data you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership of your engineering data.

Engineering Judgment: The Service is a calculation tool that aids \u2014 but does not replace \u2014 professional engineering judgment. All outputs must be independently reviewed and verified by a licensed engineer before use in any design, construction, or permitting process. Straktu is not liable for errors, omissions, or consequences arising from the use of Service outputs.

Limitation of Liability:To the maximum extent permitted by law, Straktu's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Straktu operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal remedies.
